Consumers find Minerva Foods products in large chains in their city.

When choosing the meat, it is best to observe the following aspects:

– The color of the meat must be opaque red, as it is vacuum-packed. Once the package is opened, the meat should return to its normal color in about 20 minutes;

– Be stored in a gondola with appropriate temperature;

– Meat may contain some juice (blood), but it should not be slimy (thick);

– The vacuum package must be in perfect condition, without tears or holes;

– Check if the product is within the expiration date. If the product is not vacuum-packed, you should mainly observe the color of the meat, the way the piece is exposed and the hygiene of the environment in which it is located.

Avoid breaking the cold chain. Ideally, the meat should be transported from the supermarket to your home in such a way that it maintains the temperature indicated on the label.

The goods must be stored in a refrigerated environment from 0ºC to 7ºC or -12ºC if frozen. To defrost it, place it in the refrigerator. And it is not recommended to freeze the same piece again.
