About the Award
The “CREATING CONNECTIONS – MINERVA FOODS HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR” award is one of the many ways we live and put into practice our values and our purpose of always “Creating connections between people, food, and nature.”
With this project, the Company identifies, recognizes, and showcases employees and their teams who demonstrate our values and behaviors, generating performance for the Company.
The annual recognition creates connections between people and their origins, fostering the exchange of experiences. In this way, the company publicly and globally values good examples and best practices.
The current award categories for the year are dynamic. In other words, each edition may feature new or updated categories.
Innovation Category
To designate 2024 as the “year of innovation,” the 1st edition of the global award “CREATING CONNECTIONS – MINERVA FOODS HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR” will begin with the INNOVATION category, aiming to encourage innovation in the productive environment with creativity, disruptive thinking, implementation of innovative, simple solutions that have a positive impact on MINERVA.
Additionally, with this initiative, we implement transformations suggested by our own employees as a result of the Great Place To Work survey, specifically the questions regarding innovation.
The proposal for this year is to encourage creativity, disruptive thinking, and an open environment for ideas, regardless of their origin. We want to recognize simple and innovative solutions, whether implemented or not, that have a positive impact on the Company.

Get to know the divisions for this category:
Teams that carried out projects, actions, or initiatives implemented in the years 2023 and 2024 in any Minerva Foods business unit, generating results with evidence, meeting at least one (1) of the three (3) criteria below, may participate:
a) Time optimization or significant process improvement;
b) Optimization in the use of natural resources;
c) Positive financial return or impact.
Ideas for projects, actions, or initiatives that have not yet been implemented but have potential for performance and innovation, considering the following criteria, may participate:
a) Originality and creativity;
b) Feasibility and scalability;
c) Organizational objectives.
