Engage rural producers and together work towards the establishment of
sustainable, profitable, low-carbon agriculture and cattle ranching.
Learn About the Program

In 2021, Minerva Foods launched the Renove Program to collaborate with our partners on initiatives aimed at reducing emissions and promoting sustainability on rural properties.
For the development of our projects, we use primary data and internationally recognized methodologies to ensure robustness and scientific credibility.
Through Renove, we work alongside cattle ranchers to ensure that livestock management practices meet market sustainability requirements and contribute to global efforts to mitigate climate change.
To become a Renove partner, farms must comply with Minerva’s Policy, demonstrate at least 10 years of zero deforestation (legal or illegal), and commit to maintaining this status going forward.
In this way, we contribute to strengthening the recognition of sustainable cattle ranching in South America.
Program Components
Sustainable farm development is supported through our projects by:
– Partner farms in the Renove Program have their carbon footprint calculated based on the identification of the main sources of livestock-related emissions on the property. Farms that demonstrate a carbon footprint below conventional averages are certified under the Low-Carbon Protocol or the Carbon Neutral Protocol.
Low-Carbon and Carbon-Neutral
Good agricultural practices are recognized for enhancing the resilience of food production systems. Within the Renove Program, practices such as pasture rotation and restoration, integrated production systems, and forage species diversification are encouraged, contributing to improved soil health and farm efficiency.
Sustainable Regenerative Practices on Farms
Regenerative practices in agriculture strengthen ecosystem services, directly contributing to soil water retention capacity, the protection of water bodies and springs, and the preservation of forests and biodiversity. These practices enhance the resilience of productive areas to climate-related challenges, support ecosystem integrity, and promote a more balanced production system in harmony with nature.
Preservation of Nature and Environmental Resources
Renove brings three essential components to rural properties for the sustainable development of livestock production:
Green Finance
- Access to payments for environmental services and
the carbon market; - Access to green credits;
- Access to new market demands;
Training and Technical Assistance
Assistance in the use of low carbon emission technologies, combining profitability and sustainability.
