SÃO PAULO (Reuters) – Minerva announced on Tuesday that two of its production plants in Colombia, Bucaramanga and Ciénaga de Oro, have been authorized to export Colombian beef to China, according to a market statement.
As a result, Minerva’s exposure to the Chinese market now totals 12 production units, with a slaughtering capacity of about 14,700 head of cattle per day, including five plants in Brazil, four in Uruguay, one in Argentina, and two in Colombia, according to the company.
