The first batch of Full Traceable Leather comes from the Palmeiras de Goiás (GO) plant, in Brazil, reports the company.
Minerva Foods announces the first shipment of full traceable leather, destined for China. The commercialization is carried out through Minerva Leather, a business unit specialized in leathers.
With this operation, the company acts as a pioneer in the Brazilian leather sector by commercializing the first 100% traceable product.
The term Full Traceable is designated to characterize leathers that have a guarantee of origin, following processes that allow for the traceability and monitoring of the entire chain, from the farm where the animal was born to its arrival at the end consumer.
The first batch of Full Traceable Leather originates from the Palmeiras de Goiás (GO) plant, with shipment starting from the Curtume Centro-Oeste (CCO), located in Senador Canedo (GO).
“The global leather industry has been evolving year after year, and today, the Brazilian leather industry faces the challenge of showing the world that we can produce sustainably, meeting the most demanding markets in terms of quality and technology, and with this project, we take an important step for the Brazilian leather industry,” concludes Alessandro Sousa, Director of Minerva Leather.
