Prime Rib is a noble cut and one of the most famous in America. Every day it gains new fans and is starting to become popular in Latin America. Traditional for its tenderness and juiciness, it stands out for its marbled fat.

Today you will learn how to prepare it, accompanied by delicious herbs, potato balls and grated Parmesan cheese, which accentuate the flavors.

Ingredients:

Prime Rib with Herbs

  • 1 cut of Prime Rib
  • 50 g butter at room temperature
  • Rosemary to taste
  • Thyme to taste
  • Sage to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 head of garlic cut in half

Potatoes

  • 300g small potatoes
  • ½ cup (teacup) Alma Lusa olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Final touches:

  • 100 g grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation:

Potatoes:

Place the potatoes in a medium pot, cover with water and bring to medium heat to cook.

Once cooked, drain the water, place them in a medium bowl and season with Alma Lusa olive oil, salt and ground black pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside.

Prime Rib with Herbs:

In a medium baking dish, place the Prime Rib and add butter, rosemary, thyme, sage and season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Mix well and take to the preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes, add the potatoes and the garlic. Place it back in the oven for another 10 minutes or until it is at the desired doneness and slightly golden. Remove from the oven, crush the potatoes lightly and serve with grated Parmesan cheese and the Prime Rib.
